At Jeeva Yoga Studio, we offer a variety of classes to suit the needs of the practitioner. Class options range from slow and restorative to intense and powerful. Sunrise Vinyasa
A perfect way to start the day using the foundations of Asana (postures) and Pranayama (breathwork) to build strength, gain flexibility and create vitality. The Asanas in this class will help you awaken, energise and centre yourself for the day ahead.
This class is suited to all levels.
Vinyasa 1
Using the Foundations of Asanas (postures) and Pranayama (breathwork) to build a flowing and fluid class. Suitable for all levels.
Yoga for Back Care
A restorative style yoga class designed specifically to unravel tensions in your spine, cultivate core strength and pelvic stability.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a practice that combines the knowledge of Chinese medicine and Hatha yoga. Poses are often held for between 3-5 mins to release and restore soft and connective tissues.
Yoga Foundations
This class will suit someone looking to familiarise themselves with the yoga practice or to a practitioner who wants to touch base with the basics. The class will focus on alignment of postures and teachers will guide you with modifications to suit everyone.
Vinyasa 2
Build strength and stamina with this dynamic practice. Suitable for those with some yoga experience and a willingness to work hard. The class will incorporate the principales of yoga asana along with other modalities like FRC and gymnastics. Prepare to work hard!
Unwind and Restore
Slide out of your day into a relaxing and nourishing class. This class will include restorative yoga postures, meditation, somatics and Yoga Nidra. Suitable for all levels.
Yin by Candlelight - seasonal
Our autumn and winter offering. The last friday of every month. A long yin class by candlelight to soothe the senses and allow a fully body relaxation.
