At Jeeva Yoga Studio, we offer a variety of classes to suit the needs of the practitioner. Class options range from slow and restorative to intense and powerful. We invite you to have a look at the type of classes that suit your preference.

We focus on small group yoga classes, where our experienced teachers can offer you personalised guidance with your practice. We have weekly classes and ‘Jeeva Signature Classes and Programs’ which run monthly.

At Jeeva Yoga Studio we present a space that is inclusive and encouraging. Our aim is to provide a space where you explore the infinite possibilities of the body to enable a state of deep self-enquiry. All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Please bring a yoga mat, drink bottle, and towel to your classes. We also have mats available for hire (gold coin donation) and purchase.

    Yoga Foundations

    This class is perfect for those new to yoga or practitioners wanting to revisit the fundamentals. Yoga Foundations focuses on proper alignment and building a strong foundation for your yoga practice. Teachers provide clear guidance and modifications to ensure the practice suits everyone.

    Vinyasa 1

    This class combines foundational asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathwork) to create a smooth, flowing practice. Vinyasa 1 emphasises connection and fluidity in movement and is suitable for all levels.

    Vinyasa 2

    Sunrise Yoga

    Ashtanga Vinyasa

    Unwind & Restore

    Yoga & Mobility

    This class combines yoga with advanced mobility techniques like Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) to enhance flexibility, strength, and joint health. Through dynamic movement and targeted stretching, you'll improve range of motion and reduce muscle tension. Yoga & Mobility is ideal for those looking to deepen their practice and increase mobility.

    Yin Yoga

    Yin Yoga blends Chinese medicine with Hatha yoga to target soft and connective tissues. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, promoting deep relaxation, flexibility, and energy flow. Ideal for those seeking stress relief and improved mobility.

    Yoga for Strength

    This class combines yoga asanas (poses) with load and resistance training to build strength and stability.     Meditation

    Yin by Candlelight

    Our  winter offering: a soothing candlelit Yin class held on the last Friday of each month. This extended session is designed to calm the senses and invite deep, full-body relaxation. The candles used are hand poured soy wax, non-fragrant candles to ensure ambience without any irritation.

    Roll & Release

    This class focuses on releasing tension and promoting relaxation through ball rolling techniques. Using a tennis ball, gravity, and mindful breathing, you'll target key areas of the body to ease tightness and support recovery.     Assisted Stretch

    An hour of hands-on squishes, neck and shoulder massages, combined with deep stretches. Assisted Stretch combines meditation with Thai restorative massage techniques. The intentional use of touch promotes deep rest, releases tension, and calms the nervous system, leaving you grounded and refreshed before the weekend. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga Foundations: We all start somewhere, and Yoga Foundations is the perfect place to begin. This class is an introduction to yoga that focuses on building mobility, alignment, and breath awareness. Through thoughtful, repetitive movements, you’ll learn how to cultivate strength and flexibility while discovering the benefits of foundational yoga postures.

Yoga Foundations is about more than just the poses, it’s about giving you the tools to move with ease. We’ll work on improving joint mobility, helping you find more freedom in your movement.
